Does it cost me anything to work with you as a buyer?
In most purchases, the buyer’s agent is paid from the sale proceeds by agreement with the seller’s brokerage. I’ll explain exactly how it works for any home you consider, and put it in writing before we start.
How much do I need for a down payment?
In Canada the minimum is 5% on the first $500,000 and 10% on the portion above it, up to $1.5 million. Homes over that need 20%. A mortgage professional can confirm what applies to you.
What are subjects?
Conditions in your offer, such as financing, inspection or reviewing strata documents. They give you time to confirm the home is right before the deal becomes firm.
Can you help me buy before I sell?
Yes. We’ll look at timing, bridge financing and subject-to-sale offers so you can make the move in the order that suits you.
